Paying with mobile money
Niutoyu supports MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash, and AirtelTigo Money so you can check out without a card. Here's how to pay safely and what to do if something doesn't go through.
Supported providers
We currently accept the following mobile money networks at checkout:
- MTN Mobile Money
- Vodafone Cash
- AirtelTigo Money
Step-by-step checkout
From your cart, choose Mobile Money and select your provider. Enter the phone number registered to your wallet, then watch for the USSD prompt on your phone and enter your PIN to authorize the payment. Once approved, you'll see your order confirmation.
Troubleshooting
If a payment doesn't go through, check that your wallet has enough balance to cover the order plus the small transaction fee, that your provider isn't down for maintenance, and that you authorized the prompt within 60 seconds. You can retry from the Cart screen at any time.
Pro tip
Top up your wallet before checkout — most failed payments happen because the wallet was just shy of the order total once the network fee was added.
Security notice
Niutoyu will never ask for your mobile money PIN by email, phone, or chat. Only enter your PIN on the official USSD prompt from your provider.
